Advertiser: National Ticketing Association (ANATIC- Asociación Nacional de Ticketing)

Brand: ANATIC

Campaign: Development of a PR campaign for the National Ticketing Association (ANATIC)

What did they ask us for?

The National Ticketing Association (ANATIC), is the association that brings together more than 20 companies (amongst which are ticket exchange platforms, agencies and event management companies) in order to professionalize and regulate the secondary sales market of tickets.

For this project, they needed to create more public awareness of the association and its mission, in order to provide first-hand information to the social conversation generated around the sales of online tickets. We were required to convey a message to the consumer that was not erroneous and biased, and that focused on the operation of the sector, its regulation and secure shopping platforms.

What did we do?

  • We created various press releases filled with newsworthy facts about the secondary market for online ticket sales.
  • We developed press releases in order to provide real information about the secondary market that also included concerns of malpractice across the sector.

We chose an approach that diversified the media used to introduce ANATIC and organised interviews for comms about the resale of online tickets.

What results were obtained?

  • We secured an interview through El País with the president of ANATIC. This newspaper published a story on their website featuring María Requena, President of the Association.
  • The Onda Cero radio station created a report on the resale of tickets, and also included an interview with the president of the association.
  • A number of other media organisations, including Europa Press, El Confidencial, La Vanguardia, Telecinco and Cuatro echoed the information conveyed by ANATIC and published a press release, in this way gaining greater visibility for the Association across very prominent national and international media outlets.
  • We managed to generate a Media Value of: €195,615
  • The ROI of this activity was over 1500%
